GlamBox ME (November 2015)

I finally caved and subscribed to the beauty box madness – a 6 month GlamBox Middle East subscription.

How it works?

Join GlamBox and pay a fee per month (eg: AED75 monthly) to receive monthly deliveries of high-end beauty and lifestyle samples from top brands. According to them, “it’s the best way to discover new products and buy with confidence”.

Here are the products that came in the November GlamBox. I am guessing the two boxes are an exception for this month only (Welcome box?), and there is usually just one.

In one of the boxes, there is a full sized BIODERMA skin concentrate (moisturizer) for sensitive skin, along with three samples for varying skin types (dehydrated, dry, very dry). There is also a nail oil, the Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil sample, and some Rasasi perfume samples.

The other box had a Nivea shower gel, Benefit Fake Up concealer, Kenzo perfume sample, Mango chapstick and the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter lotion, which is great for me to carry on my upcoming travel.

In addition to the products, there are also a number of vouchers and coupons for discounts on products and services (eg: Body Shop), or free skin consultations.

So far so good. Love the packaging, delivery is on time, and product selection/brands look diverse enough. Expect reviews on some or all of these during the month!

Have you subscribed to any beauty boxes? x

  1. I keep seeing people reviewing their beauty boxes. I’ve never subscribed to one before but I have considered it. I’m terrible for almost hoarding samples I’ll get them stuff them away in a travel bag or something and never use it. I’ll discover them and throw em out cause those things never have expiration dates so I’m so hesitant to try them.
