Blue Rhythm De Chanel Liquid Eyeliner

The Blue Rhythm De Chanel collection, launched in 2015, was/is absolutely gorgeous, and was giving me some serious makeup goals.

I got some of the items from this collection as a birthday gift, and my favourite thing out of the lot is the Ligne Graphique De Chanel (60 Dream Blue) … However, it IS limited edition, and I could only find the Blue shade at Neiman Marcus so if you like this, you should rush and click on the link above.

Here’s how I wear it, and what it looks like

I have tried to wear this on its own, but I prefer to first put on my black eyeliner underneath, and then put this over the black. I feel that it intensifies the blue, somehow.

Overall, the eyeliner has a metallic, but not a glossy effect, which I really like. The colour pigment also lasts a good 8 hours or so, after which is begins to tone down a little into a more muted blue/black colour, but it still does not come off or smudge.

However, I do have a slight issue with the packaging; although the tip/nip makes it very easy to apply, I feel like the thin inner wand is surrounded by the chunky packaging, making it a bit difficult to manoeuvre around the eyes.

Other similar products you could try include Stila’s All Day Waterproof eyeliner in Midnight Blue or Indigo, Sephora Collection Colourful Waterproof Eyeliner in Sailor Kiss, Makeup Forever Aqua Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Color 6 Iridescent Navy Blue and the Kat Von D Ink Liner.

Have you tried any of the coloured liquid eyeliners? x
